1. What we offer
Benefit Finder India is a free information service. We publish a directory of Indian government schemes and provide a questionnaire that narrows that directory to the schemes most likely to be relevant to you.
There is no account, no subscription, no paid tier, and no charge of any kind, now or in future, for any part of this service.
2. We are independent
We are not a government body and we do not act on behalf of one. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of India, any state or union territory government, or any ministry, department or agency. See our disclaimer for the full statement.
3. Information only, not advice or a decision
Everything on this website is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and it is not a determination of your entitlement to anything.
We do not decide who qualifies for a government scheme. Only the relevant government authority does that, using its own criteria, documents and verification. Our matching results describe what your answers appear to meet against published criteria, and nothing more.
4. Accuracy
We take reasonable care: every scheme is drawn from an official government source, checked by a person, dated, and monitored for change. We nevertheless make no warranty that any information is accurate, complete or current at the moment you read it, and government schemes change frequently.
You must confirm details on the official government source before relying on them. Each scheme page links to that source and shows when we last checked it.
5. External links
We link to government portals and other external websites. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
6. Acceptable use
You may use this website freely for personal or professional purposes, including helping other people find schemes. You may not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades it for others, or bypass rate limits;
- copy the site's original written descriptions wholesale for republication (the underlying facts about government schemes are, of course, free for anyone to use);
- submit false or abusive error reports, or use the report form to send spam;
- attempt to gain access to the administration area, or to interfere with the security or operation of the service;
- present the site, or its results, as an official government service or determination.
7. Advertising
This service is free and is funded by advertising. Advertisements are clearly labelled and are kept away from the buttons and links that matter, in particular the official application links. Advertisements are not endorsements, we do not control their content, and no advertiser can influence which schemes appear in your results or how they are ranked.
If you see an advertisement on this site that appears to impersonate a government service or asks for payment to process a government application, please report it through our contact page.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we exclude all warranties. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website; from any error, omission or out-of-date entry; from any scheme being unavailable, discontinued or administered differently than described; or from any external website.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
