Rooftop solar subsidy is tiered by system size and paid to your bank account after your electricity distribution company has inspected the installation and fitted a net meter.
Only residential connections qualify. Panels normally have to be made in India from Indian-made cells, which limits your choice of vendor, and the subsidy can be claimed once per installation.
