Short version: you do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. Your questionnaire answers are used to produce your results and are not stored against you or any identifier.
The information we do not collect
We do not require or request:
- a name, email address, phone number, or postal address
- a login, password, or social sign-in
- Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or any government identifier
- any document upload
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete, because there is no account.
Your questionnaire answers
When you use Find my benefits, your answers (state, age, occupation, income band and so on) are sent to our server, matched against our scheme database, and returned to your browser as results. They are held in memory for the length of that request and are not written to a database against you or any identifier.
Your answers are also kept in your own browser so you can go back a step or return to your results, and they are encoded into the results page address so that you can bookmark or re-open your results. That address is under your control. If you share it with somebody, you are sharing your answers with them, so treat it the way you would treat any personal link.
What we do record
To understand which schemes people are looking for and where our information is failing them, we record a small number of anonymous events. These contain no name, no identifier, no IP address and no advertising id:

These records cannot be linked back to you, to a session, or to each other.
Error reports. If you use "Report outdated information", we store what you tell us plus a one-way hash of your IP address under a salt that changes daily. This exists only to stop automated spam, cannot be reversed into your IP address, and is deleted after 30 days.
Server logs. Our web server records requests with the IP address truncated, for security and troubleshooting, and these logs are rotated and deleted on a short cycle.
Cookies
The website itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels or fingerprinting. Your questionnaire answers are kept in your browser's own storage, which never leaves your device and is not readable by us or anyone else.
Advertising. This site is free and is funded by advertising. When
advertising is switched on, Google's advertising services may set cookies or
use similar technologies on your device. Visitors in the European Economic
Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a consent choice before
any personalised advertising is served, as Google requires. Visitors elsewhere,
including in India, can control ad personalisation through Google's own
settings at adssettings.google.com. We do not receive, and could not identify
you from, anything Google collects.
This section will be updated with the specific advertising partner and consent platform before advertising is enabled.
Sharing
We do not sell your information, and we have nothing to sell. We do not share anonymous analytics with third parties. We would disclose information only if legally compelled to do so, and there is very little we could disclose.
Links to government websites
Every scheme page links to official government portals. Once you follow such a link you are on a government website, governed by that website's own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Children
This service is intended for general public use. Scholarship information may be of interest to school students; we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all.
Your rights
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data that identifies you, there is in practice no record for us to correct, export or erase. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us using the contact page and we will look into it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and note what changed. Because we hold no contact details, we cannot notify you individually.
