Monthly maintenance money, a book allowance, a disability allowance and fee reimbursement for students with 40 percent or more disability, from Class IX right up to a Master's degree.

Monthly pension from the Central Government for people aged 18 and above with severe or multiple disabilities, from families below the poverty line. States add their own top-up.

Assisted living devices such as walking sticks, hearing aids, wheelchairs, spectacles and dentures for poor senior citizens with age-related disability, given through assessment camps.

Free or half-cost assistive devices for persons with at least 40 per cent disability whose monthly income is up to Rs 30,000. Cochlear implants for children are also covered.
